Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy
Nature of the Training ProgrammeThe training programme has been accredited by the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Graduates of the Training Programme qualify for a Diploma of accreditation in Gestalt Psychotherapy and may call themselves Gestalt Therapists. What Does The Gestalt Diploma Programme Provide?Since 1983 the Irish Gestalt Centre has been offering training programmes that lead to a qualification as a Gestalt Therapist. The programmes have evolved through the last twenty years. There are two elements that the centre has always felt were central to the training of Gestalt Therapists, this is the development of their own self awareness and the forming of a community. Within this community each person not only learns and understands the theory and practice of Gestalt, but also shares this learning in a residential setting. The training programmes are residential as this intensifies the experiential approach and increases awareness as the individual develops both inside and outside the group. |

AccreditationThe programme provides a warm, nourishing community that facilitates learning within a group environment. The Gestalt experiential model of training has proven itself to be effective over the last 20 years on this programme. Our programme is run by qualified trainers who have years of experience in both the practice and theory of Gestalt psychotherapy. |
